Victoria Picton (VP) enjoyed an illustrious 6+ year modelling career appearing in many of the UK’s biggest tabloids and in some of the most popular lads magazines of the 00’s era. She has also been the face of several modelling campaigns for Prada, Lipsy and Pipex.

 In 2001 VP made her debut film appearance playing a supporting Actor role to her childhood favourite star John Hurt in the movie Tabloid TV.
VP has appeared in numerous TV commercials, hidden camera shows and Comedy sketches for the BBC, Sky and Channel 4, namely hit shows ‘Make My Day’, ‘The Cowboy Trap’ then later BBC1’s ‘Spy TV ‘ with cheeky footballer Ian Wright proving herself not just as a natural beauty in front of the camera but also a witty, comedy ad-lib actor.
In 2007/2009 VP settled into TV Presenting, hosting popular Bravo car programme The Gumball Rally which saw her travel across America from LA to Miami  in a car in just 8 days, she then went on to presenting lads favourite  ‘Scumball’ rally for Dave TV where she was challenged to a 4 day race across Europe in a old car worth less than £400.00With regular work on Sky presenting Interactive show – ‘Show off TV’  between 2009/2011. In early 2010 she co-hosted popular TV pundit Gary Bushell’s DVD ‘Bushell on the Box’  and then later was asked to be involved in 2 episodes of ‘John Bishops Britain’ a British Television programme presented by comedian John Bishop, each program had a theme. It featured stand up, sketches and real-life stories from celebrity guests and members of the public on that particular topic. VP was asked to tell her hilarious stories and experiences in ‘Love and Marriage’ and ‘Growing up’.
VP formed her own Media Company in 2010, created to write & produce her own treatments for TV & video, the Company later evolved into a successful ‘Boutique Wedding Videography Company’ which she still runs to this day.
With her focusses still firmly on establishing herself as a mainstream Presenter, she now freelances as a Presenter for Fashion, Charity, Red Carpet & Celebrity Events.
In 2013 VP launched an Online Woman’s, Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle & Culture Magazine – ‘Miss Independent Woman’, tipped as the ‘Ultimate’ Girl Site, there she leads a team of ‘MIW Girls’ who cover a wide range of topics for girls and women of all ages.
The site covers all general topics, but also focusses on inner beauty, confidence, health, love, life and sex advice. Its motto: ‘Women Inspiring Women’.
‘Proud mummy & wife’
A self confessed ‘mummy’s girl’, after the tragic loss of her own mother ‘Gillian Nova Thomas’ to Cancer in 2005,  In August 2013, VP became a mother for the first time to daughter ‘Nova Victoria Picton’ (Boo Boo). VP described the experience as the most precious & important moment in her life. Since then VP has juggled life as a full time mummy, whilst proudly supporting husband Jay James as a finalist on this years X Factor. She still regularly updates her ‘Ultimate Girl Site’ with the aim of spreading positivity & helping other women find their spark in all areas of their lives.
